Years of Partnership

About us

Since 1982, Rhineland-Palatinate and Rwanda have been connected through a unique partnership. It was founded on the idea of reshaping development cooperation – to make it more grassroots-oriented, decentralized, and based on solidarity. Today, this model is recognized internationally as an example of cooperation on equal terms. On this website, you will find insights into the grassroots partnership, its projects, and current events. You will learn how committed individuals from both countries are shaping the future together – through education initiatives, health promotion, sustainable development, and intercultural exchange.
